The short version

• We don’t put your garden on our servers. Your progress (field guide, days met, notes) is saved in the browser storage on your own device. There is no account and no sign-in.
• No name, no email, no phone number is required to play.
• Bird songs are always free. Listening is never behind a paywall.
• If you want to move your progress to another device, use the app’s save code feature and keep it yourself. Save codes are not sent to us.
• Clearing your browser storage, or opening the app from a different device or browser, will not carry your progress over. The app says so too.

Bird recordings come from xeno-canto under their Creative Commons licenses, with each recordist credited inside the app. Feeding relationships come from GloBI (Global Biotic Interactions).
